I wonder how much faster these drivers make the R290X?
Looking forward to the reviews.
That would be nice. Maybe nVidia will reconsider their pricing again.

It would make AMD's decision to launch the 290X before having this driver somewhat curious, however; unless the drivers team somehow took everyone by surprise.

Another winner in the price/preformance ratio.
The blurred out card is the new card coming Tuesday 5am from AMD.
A card which I've now managed scores even beating the R290X OC with, due to newer drivers.
Of course if I re-tested the X it would be faster again, but I am short on time. Shall post up what an R290 Pro can do maxed out 5am Tuesday.
Actually the price depends on taxes, in case of France, they have 19,6% VAT which is lower than most of Europe.
AMD Radeon R9 290 Video Card Review - It is time now to look at AMD's Radeon R9 290. This lower-cost R9 290 series video card packs a punch, not only in performance, but also in price. Watch it compete with the GeForce GTX 780, and win while being priced lower. This is the value you have been waiting for with gaming performance.
