A quad of pixels. If the triangles are all single pixel then a pixel wave will contain fragments for 16 triangles and the utilization is 25% as only 1 of every 4 pixels is lit.The smallest granularity is a quad of triangles, right?
I believe Linus hinted at playing with a non-reference 290/x.Without an officially communicated launch date there is naturally no delay
But has any of the usual suspects among the reviewers hinted about having cards or not? usually you'll see people like Hilbert semi-leak (like showing the package that just arrived etc).

At one point they probably did plan to launch at that date, hence the creation of said slide, and when it became clear to them that they couldn't make it by then - post-leakage/release of the slide - they retconned history and turned it into an "error".They mentioned it at least during two press events (~2 weeks ago) and also stated, that they have never planned to launch any new product on 15 Oct.
Well, it wasn't postponed. The date (15th) was mentioned in some slide by mistake, but AMD instantly stated, that this date is just an error. They mentioned it at least during two press events (~2 weeks ago) and also stated, that they have never planned to launch any new product on 15 Oct.
For some kind of mounting bracket, possibly in a mac?
The beta is not working well at all , on Windows 8 it's very smooth, on 7 however it's so bad that it took 2 updates to get it working at an acceptable level and still it's not there yet.So I guess they are holding back the reviews for some BF4 beta performance patch or something? This could backfire with Nvidia's big reveal coming in a few days in Montreal.
