From what I have read and know about Alienware there machines aren't too bad, their choice of components has been quite good ASUS motherboards ATI video cards etc. But I wouldn't expect that they are as fast as a Voodoopc or Falcon NW but I'm sure they can kick the crap out of a HP and some other less performance orientated vendors PC's.
