Ace Combat 6 for Xbox 360 ? *confirmed* *rules: post #111

But Ace Combat and Monster Hunter will not make any large difference over here.

I'm just wondering if Japanese may accept 360 as a more viable alternative with these.

DMC4 will have measurable impact on USA as well, I agree.

I agree. a lot of this is aimed at Japan but it still seems like pissing into the wind. ;)

but.... they have to start somewhere... maybe by next, next gen this stuff will pay off in Japan? That is if Wii2 is not the 1 console future. ;)

wow... love me some flying combat and Ace Combat was always one of my favorites.... now if namco can just make a Next Gen game that looks like a Next Gen game. ;)

Aint that the truth. Namco's next gen efforts have been pathetic so far, so at this point, who really cares...

Any good japanese centric games will help the overall appeal, already 360 has increased from 1000-1500 to a solid 3000-4000/week within a year, people scoff but if they can continue that upward trend they will end up with a 3-4million install base when all is said and done.

Lets say 5 years, that would require an average weekly sale of 16.000 units starting next week....

but but.....it is ACE Combat 6 with a different title.....so maybe its a port from the PS2.... hopefully ACE Combat 7 is built from the ground up for the PS3....................hopefully....

*sniff sniff* :(

Actually,ACE COMBAT 6 did not released. It called ACE COMBAT Zero.

360 AC6 info would be reported in next month japan famitsu magazine, which could be issued in next week.

Edit. I saw the proper scan, this game would be released in this year.Famitisu has a exclusive interview.

My uncle Benny on my mom's side use to speak with this guy (who had only one leg) who was long time friends with a game developer who was game developer buddies with a high up guy from Namco. He (my uncle Benny) told me this was 100% false.

how do you like your crow :)

Looks good on the scan...not Namco good (They have become the shadow of themselves with the recent tarnsition), I mean real good !
Damn, the 360 is more tempting than the Xbox had ever been !

I wish they included attack helicopters in AC6, if not I wish somebody would make a game with a nice selection of attack choppers. I would love to do battle in a Commanche.:devilish:

Ridge Racer 6 which is an exclusive title just like Ace Combat 6 was not bad actually, it was one of the 60fps titles!

good point. although Ridge Racer 6 was likely a PS2 game that never got released on PS2, then was redirected to Xbox 360.

Ace Combat 6 visuals look nice though it's hard to tell from the scan. waits for direct screenshots.

please be 60fps.

doubt they would make a new game based around a scrapped helicopter.

Outside of the obvious improvement in visual quality that one would expect from the jump into the next generation Ace Combat 6 will feature a few new gameplay systems. The biggest new inclusion appears to be the Dynamic Mission system, which allows for dynamically changing, large scale battles. During missions, you fight along side a number of ally pilots and squads whom you can send them off to perform separate tasks. Success in some of these mini-missions may be required in order to clear a stage, but this isn't always the case. As you clear tasks, new ones will present themselves, expanding the battle in new ways. The game supports up to six tasks simultaneously.

I said wow o_O
