Looks like ARM licenses the MBX...

 

That's old news. There are more and bigger licencees than them

 

Intel, TI, Renesas, ST Micro....? (not mentioning the rumoured unannounced ones) *shrugs*

AFAIK it uses an ARM925 CPU @ ~100 MHz, coupled with a DSP-Co-Processor, mainly for audio processing. Might be one of the current TI OMAPs, which would offer basic 2d hardware acceleration, but no 3d core (unlike future OMAPs with MBX).

Converts 3gp to AVI - it does its job well.
