[360] Forza Motorsport 3

I hate rubberband, and i would hate to see it in F3. Being penaltized for driving fast and well freaking sucks. (see mario kart wii)

Agreed. I traded in Mario Kart Wii shortly after purchase due to the painful rubber band AI and giving last places the best upgrades so they can catch up. I could see them adding an option for it but I would hope they would not be dumb enough to make it permanent.

Dude, that is horrible!! Is there any alternative online services in the area? I am guessing the "barracks" don't allow a service (even through the cable??), but maybe Clearspeed or whatnot may be an option? Or pay for a second connection in the office with a better router :p

I was considering it, but the course is a 2 year course condensed down to 5 1/2 months. We're doing 6 day, 10 hr work days not to include the study groups at night.

Good news is that I will have a ton of stuff to play when I get done if I ever get to catch up on my back log.

From the pics I've seen of F3, it looks to be a significant improvement from the first. I like that there is a possibility of it being less sim if you want it.

Arcade racer as in unrealistic, not as in actually being located at the arcades.

I know how you meant it. I just don't agree with this use of the word 'arcade', especially if you say that arcade games can get away with 30 fps when pretty much every real arcade game ran with 60 the last couple of decades.

Some new screens - The car models and environments are awesome! Photomode and custom paint jobs are going to be so awesome in this game!

The game looks great, you should have went to specsavers

The cartoony look is intentional. I would prefer if they did go for more realism but it still looks excellent

The best thing I like from what I'm seeing so far that put this racer near the top for me is that lack of aliasing even in high contrast areas. Something that appears to be a bit of a problem for the competition.

I haven't played a driving game in nearly 7 years, maybe I'll give this one a shot.

Is this game a poster boy for the Xbox 360's tessellation engine and tessellation in general? It just seems like they couldn't have increased the polygon count by that much on the same generation hardware without it.

You'll see aliasing in true l directfeed shots .

Bummer, so what I've seen so far isn't actual gameplay videos?

Granted, I haven't been following this too closely just checking out linked video's here and there. Haven't really been interested in racing games since around 2002.
