yes end of rule formulas tend to bring the grid closer together, but some of these rookies are more rookie than the others in f1 terms, 3 of them have raced in f1 grands prix once or more before

no imho he is more likely to get a seat at aston martin after alonso leaves due to them switching to honda in 2026

Doubtful. Why spend all that money on building a new everything and getting Newey just to put in two, at best, midfield drivers? Stroll and Tsunoda aren't horrible but they aren't exactly WDC material either.

The only way Tsunoda has a shot at AM is if Stroll quits. But I get the feeling Stroll isn't allow to quit unless he at least wins a race.

sure sure, but daddy Stroll may also quit if the son quits and then they need the money from Honda

anyway, Stroll isnt useless like some other drivers who crash all the time, but on the other hand he isnt BLISTERING

Who is they? Stroll owns the team. He can sell it and whoever buys the team can decide who they want driving the car.

The team doesn't currently need money and given teams are now actually worth money it's unlikely the team would need money from Honda in case Stroll decides to sell.

I doubt Honda building an engine for AM came with the requirement of a seat for Tsunoda.

Lance can stroll away to WEC to drive THOR. I think he's still hoping for a win and/or 10 seasons in F1 (this will be his ninth).

He is not good enough driver to win an F1 race and even he knows this.

i think he is not a good enough driver to win a race with a car that isnt outright the fastest. some drivers cant even do that

With a dominating car he could win a race. Most of the 2024 drivers could. Whether Aston gets a car that good in the next few years is another question entirely.

That would be insane. It would be the most competitive season of f1. And last season is starting to already get very interesting. I am curious if VER can continue holding onto WDC.

Newey is on garden leave till, I think, May so the earliest car he can have influence on will be the 2026 one.
