dunno who is the fonz, but I hated that guy so much, he turns my stomach when he appears in the video looking like he is going to forgive other people's lives. I was much younger then but I still stand by that today, I hate him too muchThe Fonz?! Lol
The heck you say?dunno who is the fonz,
I'm not sure if you've finished or played HellBlade 2 far enough.I don't know what to do after this phrase. Laugh because this will be true, or laugh because this will not happen and games will become even worse in general and then cry because of that.

Shoutout to the ray traced cornetto's.
Might be the best RT video Alex has done to date. Great explanations and examples.
Hope the devs keep going until it’s fully PT for indoor lighting as well as adding ray reconstruction. Game has the potential to be reference level.
thanks for the explanation. It's super nice to be able to see things in context. That was a mystery that lasted 29 years for me, since I had a W95 back in October-November 1995.I'm guessing they didn't show Happy Days on tv where you're from. It was a family comedy on tv in the 70s and 80s, but set in the 1950s. That Weezer video is them edited into scenes from Happy Days. "The Fonz" is supposed to be a "greaser," which is kind of a 1950s cool hoodlum, but ultimately in the show he's a good guy, and the most popular character from the series.
Funnily, the expression "Jumped the shark" comes from that show. When a show or series that was once good becomes bad, people will say it "jumped the shark," which is a reference to an episode of Happy Days where the Fonz jumps over a shark on water skis.
when Alex loves a game it is quite noticeable how high he talks about it. He is a very passionate guy regarding what he likes. Great video and probably the best video explaining what full ray tracing changes in the game, and why it makes it better.

I hated the whores pimp dancing by the end,
there were quite a few Full RT OFF vs Full RT ON that surprised me, but this is the one that surprised me the most.

Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long long time. Glad to see you’re still alive and doing well.Yes, path-tracing is the way to film quality. It literally changes the entire rendering pipeline and everything is shaded quite differently than rasterization.
You forgot Black Myth Wukong! It's path tracing is considerably better than Outlaws in my opinion.I'm curious to see how DF's graphics classification will turn out this year. It will probably be somewhere between Hellblade 2, Outlaws and Indiana Jones. From my point of view, Outlaws leads from a technical point of view.
I think Alan Wake will win.I find it disappointing that Indiana Jones doesn't use RTXDI for direct local lighting. Otherwise, the lighting is usually very good and much better than before. If this were a game like Cyberpunk 2077 with its many light sources the situation would be even more annoying.

Indiana Jones has very nice lighting, but the lack of RTXDI and what I consider to be sometimes more simple outdoor environments spoil the impression a little. I've already seen it straight away but I won't be playing it until Christmas. Maybe I'll change my mind then.
That's right Black Myth Wukong also belongs in the list. It has RTXDI too. Forest environments look the best there but as far as environment types go it's not as versatile. You forgot Black Myth Wukong! It's path tracing is considerably better than Outlaws in my opinion.
