UHD DLSS performance, gameplay photo mode, not at maxed out settings.

For me it looks like the surroundings like clouds, sun and mountains and bridge are correctly reflected in the companion's eyes. Ray tracing is awesome.

I wanted to take more high res screens of Final Fantasy XV, but taking even just one Super Resolution screen using Nvidia Ansel would tend to create massive stuttering once I returned to gameplay. Probably not an issue with a higher end/more recent PC, but mine was clearly struggling to cope.

Anyways, it's a weird game, but had its moments visually:

A few more screenshots would have been nice. I haven't used Ansel for a long time and then ot sometimes had bugs.

From my point of view, it's worth it. But you need very fast hardware for these visuals. The game is more challenging than Cyberpunk 2077 path tracing.

I'll now upload a few non-photomode gameplay images so that you don't just see the photomode pictures here.


I think that SW Outlaws in Mos Eisley is the most analog looking game I know. The mood, movie look and ray tracing add a lot to it. The camera, the lens, the colors, everything casts beautiful natural looking shadows. Interiors and night scenes in particular are awesome thanks to RTXDI. Games with many light sources and without path tracing or RTXDI look very modest next to it. I'm already looking forward to a The Division 3 with this technology. Hopefully in New York City again.

However, the rocks on Tattooine often look very low-resolution in the game. The biggest weakness. Apart from that, I find it very impressive in most areas and I would currently describe it as the second most impressive game after Cyberpunk 2077. The world is also very large and varied and the game has turned out pretty well.

Yeah, I don't think my 9900K will be up to the task.
I was going to upgrade to a 7800x3D last year, but opted to wait for the 9800x3D and it won't be long now.
It's that time when my CPU is holding my GPU way back, but I always upgrade those two independent of each other.
So I guess, I'll wait and buy it when my 4080 won't be bottlenecked as hard as it is now... :)
