Oculus Meta Quest 3

“We have DCS/VTOL VR at home”

I don’t really get the whole Meta platform, mobile devices don’t really have the horsepower to render a really nice VR experience so PCVR seemed like the natural way to go, however it seems this won out. Will never understand it lol.

just like consoles very underpowered compared to PCs. If the experience is still great at a good selling point, it will succeed.

Even visuals on the low end can still deliver quite immersive experiences. The price, especially on the quest 2 was a really good foot in the door and not needing other hardware was probably a big factor for the general market aswell.

This really isn't in the same boat as consoles lol, the consoles were equivalent to a high end/mid range PC when they launched. This is a phone inside of a VR headset.

you sound like someone who never tried it.
As a PSVR2 and Quest 3 user I can say i have no issue with Quest 3 graphics, immersion is here, clarity is way better than PSVR2, and no wire + smaller controllers helps a lot with the freedom of movement.
Not even talking about MR applications.

It's the Nintendo Switch of VR.

Hey it even has a Square Enix game which never came out on PS4/5 (yet), and it looks great ! :runaway:

I was under the assumption Quest3 works pretty well as PCVR device as well?
