The Order: 1886

Don't!! Releasing incomplete games makes cute babies cry.

haha.

If there is no day 1 patch, and MJP and team are going to be off celebrating for the next 35 days, I'm going to eat a crow, buy a PS4 and buy Order1886.

Preorder at GameStop for endless Blackwater? Which is the health potion, right? So if you preorder, you unlock cheat mode that renders the game a cinch and as boring as every game with the cheat codes put in?

What are the health and healing mechanics of The Order? You'd need to know that to understand how this pre-order affects the game. If it's like a minor health pack that can only be used every x minutes and applying it in combat is impossible then it's of questionable value.

"...an Endless Blackwater (for healing), and Blacksight Regeneration (for taking down your enemies)."

Seems to be little else on the subject.

Either way, it's stupid. It's either a perk that doesn't make any difference, or it's a cheat that breaks the game balancing. The only way this can be a plus is if the game is too hard for everyone else and you need these perks to make it reasonably playable!

In Jak & Daxter or Uncharted you can unlock cheats in-game to use after you have completed the game (unlimited ammo was one of them) so I suppose this is something similar.

I actually think that all games should have god modes that just don't give you trophies. That way my wife would play them and some games I would finish them instead of getting stuck.

I am really hyped for this game for at least few reasons:
#1 Graphics. They are so good. And I really like this blurry style. I loved the graphics in DIRT 3 and KZ2 (both with super blurry QAA). I am one of those guys that always disable any sharpening on a TV when playing games. Of course I also enjoy slightly sharper style like in KZ3 or Uncharted 2. But I preferred AA in U3 which was more blurry I think.
#2 I really enjoyed previous RAD games. I have faith in them.
#3 I like linear games with strong narration. I really enjoyed games like Bioshock, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, MGS and other more or less linear games.
