found a way to consistently reproduce this bug (that i think actually a feature, it seems)
1. slow down the internet so B3D "like" button will appear and clickable, but chrome will still be loading the page (for example, the quick reply box is not loaded yet)
2. click like.
it will open this kind of url https://forum.beyond3d.com/posts/2333975/react?reaction_id=1, the same url on th elike button itself.

so it seems when the scripting hasnt been fully loaded yet, xenforo have a fallback for the like function. it use normal html url.
so the like button will still work even without running scripts.
