This may be a stupid question but I didnt get the impression that you were at E3... were you?

I understand that elder scroll team had an r500 , epic , ati , sega and ms had a few behind close doors in the dev kits

and that dev kits with the r500s were just starting to go out the door . Not sure how true it is

steve ballmer said final dev kits will go out in june-july so just around the corner

According to Anand, all MS demos at E3 was done on Apple Powermac G5 machines

They also said this:
Today we were given some time to play around with everything from the console itself (non-working),

Not that i hold Anand's as the ultimate source of truth but i would think that MS would want the people to know that there was working hardware at the show if that was the case.

Edit: Though i guess that the G5 machines of course could Xenon GPU's installed.
