I'm still puzzled over the whole PD0 mess. But anyway, is there any footage of the real thing? Or pics?
Not that i heard but my friend says she stands buy the playable on the last day deal .

Mabye that will be thier big finished a beautifull looking pdz ?

What's puzzling is that apparetly PZ0 looks amazing, almost as good as GOW, so what the hell did MS show last week? And why?

I need to see these unbelieveable PD0 pics my self. and frankly, nothing on X2 is close to GoW.

Pardon?

Are you saying no other game on the Xbox360 is as impressive as GoW?

At the moment, out of all the realtime material we've seen, GOW is hard to beat.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with that. I just didn't understand what z was actually trying to say.

The Mistwalker games (I always have a hard time telling them apart) were more impressive that GoW, IMO, but I don't believe that they were realtime.

Last night on G4's E3 coverage, Adam Sessler asked J. Allard, "What happened to PD0?"

Allard: Tthe game is amazing. We showed it on the MTV special, and "it's had its time in the sun." Now we feel like giving attention to another new Rare game, Kameo.

(Paraprhased, but he actually DID say, "it's had its time in the sun.")

Then he went on to remind us that once upon a time, Halo underwhelmed too, but it "turned out all right."

i really don't understand this pdz mess either...

IGN, Gamespot, and gamespy all have writeups on the game praising it, calling it gorgeous etc etc... if microsoft have this stunning looking, wonderful game why don't they show it to everyone and put this PDZ thign to rest?

All I can think is that MS decided that they wanted to show an actual playable game, (although unfinished) to demonstrate that they were further along in development than say.. Sony, who has nothing but pretty videos.

Unfortunately, everybody would much rather see pretty videos. We really don't care how far along games are in development until the consoles are released and at that time, we'll know whats finished or not!

I think they gambled for some reason and made a horrible, horrible mistake.

Also on G4 last night, they said that GoW isn't a launch title and won't be available for another year? Despite the fact its supposedly playable now at E3? The Epic guy (whoever), seemed to agree that GoW isn't a launch title and we'll have to wait more than a year for it.

Thats a bummer.

more than a year? i thought it was early 2006... tha sucks, i am really looking forward to this game

They made it clear it wasn't a launch game, and then made a couple of other comments about having to wait a year, over a year.. etc..

I was too shocked that GoW wasn't a launch game to be 100% accurate with my memory. But once he started talking about "years" , my mind immediately went to a PS3 blocker.

What, so now they have both Halo3 and GOW launching at the same time to counter the PS3 launch?

That wouldn't be too wise, they need to release Halo3 and GOW at least in different months.

Can anyone explain this

First off, we reported on page 2 in our chart that the capable “Shader Performanceâ€￾ of the Xbox 360 GPU is 48 billion shader operations per second. While that is what Microsoft told us, Mr. Feldstein of ATI let us know that the Xbox 360 GPU is capable of doing two of those shaders per cycle. So yes, if programmed for correctly, the Xbox 360 GPU is capable of 96 billion shader operations per second. Compare this with ATI’s current PC add-in flagship card and the Xbox 360 more than doubles its abilities.
