The Witcher 2 is looking as good as much as Dragon Age 2 is looking bad. Oh well, you win some you lose some

Gah, seeing this thread updated, I just realized, I once again have failed to finish the Witcher. I'm not sure what it is about this game that just doesn't grab me like DAO or other RPGs have. I mean the combat sucks, but that shouldn't be enough to prevent me from being drawn in.
Going to have to give this some thought... Maybe it's partially due to lack of interesting items.

SB
Really?!?!? :-O
I dunno... i really liked it... It remined me of that old PS2 game summoner where the fighting is essentially a rythm game where you have to press the attack button in time to do your combos. I didn't really need any more complicated stuff in the combat for that game... perhaps if there were more weapons & armour though...
Still... i thoroughly enjoyed The Witcher, (although it frustrated the life outta me that i messed up the conversation so i wasn't able to bone the green lady in that enchanted forrest ).
This game is gonna be the game that makes me upgrade my PC... big time
Along with a release date, the firm has promised more “hot news” coming on November 18 during the CD Projekt Conference.
“We’ve decided to move the launch date back a few weeks to afford us more time to polish the game,” aid Adam Badowski, project lead at CD Projekt RED. “Of course, we know that players would like to get the game as soon as possible, so we hope that they will forgive us! We strongly believe that the extra time spent polishing the title will be well worth the wait”.
Apparently, at the conference later on this week, there will be more detailed information about the approaching worldwide launch of the title, as well as the Collector’s Edition of The Witcher 2. Moreover, CD Projekt RED will present pre-order information from all around the world.
During the conference, the the developers will explain their philosophy with regards to DRM implementation in their titles and they will let us know how it influenced the edition of the game.
Excellent news, not long to go then.
