Why don't GPUs assist in preventing online cheating (hacking) in games?

The life of a game server must be boring if it has the luxury of running the equivalent of a photoshop filter and a reverse physics calculation every X milliseconds for dozens of players.

The game server might be bored, but the network feeding it certainly wouldn't be :)

Anybody have a cow if we move this to PC Gaming? Or maybe GPGPU? There seems to be a spirited discussion going on, but I'm not sure this is the right forum for it.
