Where do you live? (using maps.google.com)

Google thinks I live in Belgium, they mislabeled both countries. And they have no maps AFAIKS.

you can see half my university here ;)

following an ill-fated experiment, green-glowing radio-active slime has taken over a perfectly rectangular area (indicating it's some form of intelligent life).

Home (I live next to that unnaturally blue lake)

So green, wow. A shame there are no hi res shots (except Uni - that looks awesome!).
Google has hi-res satelite images just a few k's west of where you live. hehe, i time to move west. :)
But 't those high-res pictures look upside down! It's unnerving!

I'm dumb.. didn't see the "link to this page" option.
I figured out I can use the keyboard too.

I spent one hour looking at my city, wandering around.. ok, that's what this streets is useful for; where goes that canal? next time I'll go to work, I'll take this street
etc.

this map is really fscking useful, I drool thinking I could have a similar thing on a PDA with GPS; no street name, no nothing, only satellite photo and a blinking dot with a stylish beep :)

have you found something interesting near you?
Here's a Concorde 8)

the interstate you see on that picture is 8 mile made famous by a certain white rapper. :) Note 8mile is also famous for dividing black detroit (south part) from white detroit, aka warren (north of 8 mile). This was a few decades ago, now its pretty much a melting pot.

I & my work are on the pic actually, and I am moving on Monday to a different house and it is in the pic as well ;)
wow, looks like a nice peaceful corner of london area. In my linked picture, i work and live within the image also. :)

it's not London, it is 40 miles west more or less, it is a village technically ...but lots of traffic going through during rush hour :|.

OK not M25 :D but a lot nevertheless, many big businesses have UK/EU/global HQ in the area. The nearest town (Bracknell) could be described as one big parking space. ;)

OOOO! I was there on wednesday, at the Hilton :p

My area: Auckland North Shore http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=-36.708884,174.739909&spn=0.031543,0.042658&t=k&hl=en

You can clearly see the complete lack of any road layout . Makes it interesting when you are new to an area heh.

I live just behind the school visible in the top left quad, I work at the built up area near the coast.

Here is the Waitemate harbour http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=-36.833811,174.764843&spn=0.063086,0.085316&t=k&hl=en

Bottom part is the viaduct and CBD. My University is next to the green blob at the bottom

If you go south from that cape in the middle until you reach the shore and then by land some couple of hundred meters further south, that's about where I live.

It feels creepy when you believed all those web-board psychos lived in another country or at least far away, and then you found out some of them might live at a walking distance from your home.
