What music are you listening to right now?

Thurston Moore - Trees Outside the Academy.

I've got a sunny wintery day going on here and this record suits it perfectly.

Two Soldiers - Norman Blake & Tony Rice
Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival

Daylight Dies- Unending Waves (finding any of their cds was NOT an easy task, let alone their first one. I stumped even the most pierced lipped of Newbury Comics clerks with my inquiry. Anyway, it was worth it.)

I got The Eagles latest album, and my initial opinion is: I want my money back. Its just crap.

Maybe it'll grow on me, or my expectations were too high, but....bleh.

Morbid Angel "Covenant" and "Blessed Are The Sick". Some of the mightiest pieces of music ever recorded

That's funny. I've been on a huge death metal of yor kick lately. Dug up all my old Morbid Angel, Deicide and Cannibal Corpse.

Right now I'm stuck on SFU - Maximum Violence
and At the Gates - Terminal Spirit Disease

indeed. I'm still in a metal-heavy phase and it feels good. :) tho it's more metalcore lately...

Opeth recently released "The Roundhouse Tapes." It's a compilation of their songs, a lot of older stuff too, in a live set. After hearing this, as well as "Lamentations," I'm fully convinced they're one of the best live acts I've ever heard. I've made it a goal to see them live. Unfortunately, they don't tour much around these parts. Regardless, I've decided I won't let that stop me.
