    Hurt- Et Al

Hurt is a highly underappreciated band. Unfortunately their music ranges from extremely well written, powerful tunes to really, really bad with very little middleground. Very bluesy feel mixed with metal. It's a nice formula and for the most part they pull it off well.

    Opeth- Blackwater Park

Easily one of the best written, most powerful songs I've ever heard in my entire life. The lyrics to this are absolute perfection. And finally, I got tickets to them. I'm seeing them on May 20th. This will be my first time seeing them live and I'm excited beyond belief.

God, there's an awful struggle between Girl Talk's Night Ripper (what an amazing album even if I'm a bit behind the times - 9/10) and The Gutter Twin's Saturnalia (8.5/10) at the moment.

Who said choice was a good thing? :)

    Meshuggah- Rational Gaze

I'm getting increasingly more into Meshuggah after I listened to them at a friend's house last week. They have very unique and sometimes unexpected timing which is interesting.
