High Fidelity
Pale Rider
High Plains Drifter
Sin City
Repo Man (might be my favorite movie ever)

cool! i'm glad someone mentioned it
i think Repo Man might be my fave movie ever too :)
there are obviously a lot better films out there, and i like good cinema in general, but i just like Repo Man for the hell of it - i think it spoke to me like nothing else at the age i was when it came out

Only just recently seen Clockwork Orange (i always managed to be in the wrong place to get to see this in the past) and that film is the only film i think i wanted to watch again almost straight away - amazing!

ps. think i want to check out that SLC Punk film that someone else mentioned

The Mission ( Irons and Deniro are amazing and the score is haunting)
Song of the South ( The Zippy ah dee do dah Movie)
Metropolis ( Fritz Langs very copied movie )
Inspector General (Danny Kaye was a riot; course I was young but it was a regular repeat movie on TV in the late 50's for some reason. Never did see it in color.

The big Lebowski is fantastic. The Coen brothers rock. Hard.

That movie i probably see two times a week.

These are the ones I can think of, probably a very incomplete list (used to watch loads of movies during the 90ies, not so much anymore):
  • Blade Runner
  • Alien Trilogy (yes not Quadrology, only watched Resurrection once)
  • Indiana Jones Trilogy (surprised this hasn't been mentioned more often)
  • original Star Wars Trilogy
  • Dune
  • Blue Velvet
  • Wild at Heart
  • The Crow
  • Akira
  • MP & The Holy Grail
  • MP's Life of Brian
  • Polica Academy Series (not proud of it, but as a kid its hard to resist this type of movies)
  • Naked Gun Trilogy (see above)
  • The Big Blue
  • Leon
  • Fifth Element
  • 2001 - Space Odyssey
  • Clockwork Orange
  • Reservoir Dogs
  • A Better Tomorrow
  • The Killer
  • Chungking Express
  • Fallen Angels
  • Wallace & Gromit shorts
  • LOtR Trilogy
  • ...

You obviously haven't seen Visitor Q. Necrophilia, incest, breast milk, oh my!

You might like to look for "Rigor Mortis" if you're into real hard-core violence zoomed-in to the max. But only if you can take it, serious warning here. And don't look for it in a store, it's banned world-wide AFAIK.

EDIT:
Add Sin City to my list, it was a real joy.
