Hehe, coincidentally, Ico DOES have self shadowing Everything in that game is so subtle, though. That's why it's visual accomplishments fly over most peoples' heads.it is unfortunate that some want (and expect) Cgraphics to 'look' like CGI graphics (oo self shadowing). if they don't see it, then it gets graded 'low tech'

Huh? That's just weird. I'm pretty sure US version didn't have that problem. I thought Euro version was even more polished...I'M PRETTY sure it was a mistake... i remember seeing that room (i think its the one with the bridge thing and the ropes and stuff...) and seeing that there was no bilinear filtering...

LOL. Excellent point! I was blown away when I sat down in front my 19" color, no-remote TV and my Sears Atari 2600 knock-off and played Sea Battle for the first time. It had 16 different colors!!
