Weird Dreams

I just had a weird one last night. I actually rented some porn movies. I mean, that's crazy! Why rent, when it can be gotten for free!

Have you had a strange dream lately?

Last night I had the strangest dream I'd ever dreamed before,
I dreamed the world had all agree to put an end to war....

(Sorry, your post made me think of that song and now it's stuck in my head!)

Way back in the day we had to don hats, trenchcoats and sunglasses to get porn. You whipper-snappers (take that where you will) have it so much easier! :)

yeah i was walking with a girl i had a crush 4 years ago (how corny), at my side was traffic... one of the cars was a petrol boat

...he didn't stop at the red light and crushed the car in front, which was a regular car. He died, the girl hugged me and the dream turned pink from there on.

i didn't wake up horny, so, must have really liked that girl back in the day

i read this dream like this: "...whatever it takes "

Which song is that :?:
I think it's "The Dream" by the Kingston Trio, either that or it's an old Irish Rovers tune. My father used to listen to it a lot when I was younger and it's always stuck in my head.

"Last night I had the strangest dream I'd ever dreamed before,
I dreamed the world had all agreed to put an end to war.

I dreamed I saw a mighty room, the room was filled with men;
and the paper they were signing swore they'd never fight again.

And when the paper was all signed and a million copies made
they all joined hands and bowed their heads and grateful prayers were prayed.

And the people in the streets below were dancing round and round,
as swords and guns and uniforms were scattered on the ground.

Last night I had the strangest dream I'd ever dreamed before,
I dreamed the world had all agreed to put an end to war."

That's from me spotty memory, so please forgive the mistakes. :)

EDITED BITS: Arlo Guthrie, at least I got the words right.

You get porn for free? Amazing. Sex is one thing, but porn? That's a pretty exciting relationship you got there.

I have some wierd dreams. I play way too many games, and I also obsess over the physics problems I'm working on at the moment, so my dreams tend to combine the two. Usually I think that I've solved a physics problem I'm having by using elements from a game I've been playing. It's total fantasy, but I believe it until I wake up :)

The most frequent crossover I've had is with Aliens (the movie). They're always chasing me down. :(

I consistently have the weirdest dreams one could ever imagine, and they're usually all very unique.

One of the craziest was a dream similar to the idea behind the oil creature in that movie The Phantoms, but I had this dream long before I saw or even knew of the movie's existence. It creeped me out that much more as a result.

Ed McCurdy, actually. (Both lyrics and music, allthough it's translated into a lot of other languages and covered by virtually every leftist folk-artist in the known universe).

Ontopic edit: For some reason I almost never remember my dreams, and when I do they slip from my mind within minutes of waking up.

Oh, yeah, that's normal. I usually do remember what my dreams were about for a bit longer, even if I've forgotten the contents pretty much the moment I wake up.

But there are a few that I still remember fairly vividly. One was a dream where I woke up laughing (it involved a fireman, a church, and hitting a kid repeatedly on the head with a shovel in order to save his life). There are a few (very wierd) sexual dreams. A few dreams involving flight (my favorites: I usually wake up too soon in the sexual ones), or just very fast motion.

Is it crazy that I can see the world being created in my dreams? I also nearly remember every single dream I've ever had, and that's usually almost every night, I remember my dreams more clearly than my own life. In my dreams I can literally see the universe around me come up and fold down as I move, its a rather interesting experience that I'd like to depict in art some day but just cant even though I have the most vivid images of it in my head.

I get a lot of these types of dreams too, except they are actual dreams of events or places that will take place. It's like my brain is predicting my own future. A lot of times these events happen months after the dreams.

Another recurring set of dreams all take place in the same "universe". It's an alternate reality of real life, and it's... a lot darker, but not because of the lighting. Hard to describe. Something's different.
