Yep, you can cake yourself. Trust me, I know.

I'm pretty sure sofa v. sofa means you're local. Of course there are ways around that but I don't think it's built in to the game.

Ok, here are most of my bigger online games (disc and big PSN games). I'll add which game has Home Game Launching as far as I know

    Resistance 1
    Killzone 2
    Farcry 2 (Home GL game)
    Unreal Tournament III
    Warhawk (Home GL game)
    Metal Gear Online
    GTA IV
    GT5 Prologue
    Burnout Paradise
Motorstorm 1 (does it still have GL in Home?) and 2
    Wipeout HD
    Eye of Judgment
Buzz (sofa vs sofa means basically two players can play each other online at this point, i.e. one sofa in one house vs one sofa in another house - I think there's supposed to be an update in the future that allows 8 different online players)
    LittleBigPlanet
Guitar Hero: World Tour (I have all the instruments, can and will play all of them also)

That should be it. No idea what smaller games feature online gaming anymore, we should make a list. I only know Calling all Cars from the top of my head. Zen Pinball too.

We could also do a week of online ranking attack or something, say pick a table in Zen Pinball and try to get the best ranking for a week.

I'm on the 'Patsu' text chat group as well.

If we want to chat and get to know each other a bit, something like High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker would be good. Video chat, relaxing card game.. one of the best social experiences I've had on PSN.

Arwin: You still play RFOM from time to time? Wouldn't mind giving it a go for old times sake, although last time I played the single player co/op, I didn't think it aged very well after my KZ2 addiction. But it could be fun and it at least has a very simplistic but good party system going for it. Are they still enough active to play ranked team deathmatch or are there only custom games?

    As for this thread:

At the moment, it's practically KillZone2 only for me (online play), but technically, I also could join some

    Call of Duty 5 games
R2 (although I have to say I really don't like the online play - I tried!)
WipEout HD (although I prefer TimeTrial competing rather than multiplayer races so far)
    RFOM
    GT5p

    That's about it...

No I don't play Resistance 1 at the moment. I merely made a list of all the big titles I have that support online!

By the way, Epic Pinball also has video chat and online. It's not terribly exciting though - High Stakes may be more suitable, but I would prefer to start with Home actually ... :p and preferably games that support game launching too. But of course this isn't a requirement, just thought it could be fun, because it should be relatively easy to switch from game to game.

Might be better if we pick one or two games to start.

    * The game I really want to try out with you guys is Fat Princess.

    * Now playing KZ2 online (sometimes R2). Don't mind launching from Home where possible.

    * I need someone to teach me how to &%*$&%$*W( play MLB 2009

Also have MS1+2, Socom, RFOM, CoD4, UT3 but I don't play them that often anymore.
Would have gotten the latest MGO DLCs if the purchase process was not so tedious and confusing.

I suck at GT5P and Warhawk.

I'd gladly join you if you need more players. :)

Killzone 2/SOCOM/Resistance2/LBP/Motorstorm: Pacific Rift/CoD4/RE5 (if that counts). :D

    PSN: Lagspike_exe

So basically we have a bunch of people that wants to play and they got a bunch of games they can play.

So the question is then, who will take ownership of this and start the ball rolling by saying we meet up day X time Z place Y :)

With a couple of days notice I can usually play from 19:00 CEST for some hours.

I think our first attempt should be Warhawk (quieten down patsu)... have enough of us got that? I only say that because I'm half decent at it.

Otherwise I have CoD4, but have never played it online. I've misplaced MS:pR and R2 but have re-purchased KZ2. Although again I've only played it for ten minutes.

Hmm, maybe BF would be a good start?

    Anyway, I'm GMT-5hrs.

Oh wow, I guess I can be a foot soldier in some obscure bunker. Now that everyone knows I'm a weak Warhawk player, I won't have any pressure when I underperform ^_^.

If Killzone gets selected, then we can create a text chat, invite everyone in it, make a server and lock it with a password.
That way, no one else would be able to join.

Warhawk certainly can - players can host their own game and password protect it. Depending on your connection it'll typically range from 8 - 24 players. If we want to, say, play at our own intensity. Which leads me nicely on to...

It's so easy to pick up and play. Maybe start with some DM games - on foot. The satisfaction you'll get from killing regularly is great.

On a related note tried the BF demo earlier. Hmm. I'm not sure... yet. It certainly has promise but I did catch myself thinking if it was fundamentally different to Warhawk. I'd lean towards yes but probably not lean far enough. Had no issues finding games on PSN by the way.

I would love to be part of this. Playing in a protected environment is good, especially after having experienced foul mouthed people more than once (even in a sweet game like LBP:shock:). But, matching time zones might be too much for me.

My online enabled games: KZ2, LBP, RE5, BF:BC, MGO. I wanted to buy Warhawk, but the demo came too late, and though I fell in love, I thought it was too late to join in a MP game's life.

No need to create a room, there's already a B3d room. :D I'll add you (or maybe someone who gets online first) and invite you.

KillZone would be fun and would work great with a password protected game too. I'm usually online in the evenings (GMT+2) at around 7 p.m. On weekends sometimes later, but tonight I should be on after 7.30pm and that till quite late.

I have Warhawk too... didn't play that game for ages (and was never really good at it, unfortunately). If we do play that, it would be great if the more experienced players could help us coordinate a bit better since the scope and size of the game is huge!

    Hi guys,

I'm certainly up for some on-line co-op and competitive play :-D

I play warhawk, KZ2, R2, Battlefield 1943, MGO, Cell Factor, Punisher and pretty much every other on-line PS3 game I have.

I haven't played online in ages though (not as fun playing with randomz).

    PSN ID: Prophecy2k

I used to have my own Warhawk clan (Prophets of Eucadia) but had to drop it as i had less and less time to play.

I play in the evenings after 7pm, have a headset and so don't mind a bit of voicechat. I'm also not allergic to Home like some folks seem to be, so i'm good for some Home launching too

    I'm in London (GMT)

Problem with home is probably that we are not all from the same region... :(

And I got a friend that might join, that means we are 4 then :D
