The thing is, Virtua Tennis 3, which runs on the same Lindbergh hardware as VF5, is also coming to the X360. To the best of my knowledge, it's being handled by a different developer than the PS3 port, but still, it looks close enough to the arcade version to me, and to the best of my knowledge, it won't be sold in Japan. So really, I shouldn't consider that to be a problem at all. The thing that does annoy me, and probably many other Xbox 360 gamers is that the selection of fighting games out now and in the pipeline are horrible at best. The best fighting game out there on the X360 is the Live Arcade port of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Not that I'm complaining about UMK3- I think it was a pretty good port- but that alone should say something about how outright bad things are looking. DOA4 is just too counter-and-jiggle heavy gor my tastes, Fight Night Round 3 is more of a boxing simulator, Smackdown VS. Raw 2007 is more of a wrestling simulator, and I don't know much about the new Def Jam game, so it's not like there would be much competition.
Oh God, did I wreck this thread?
