Agreed, especially the character and cloth animation needs to be perfect cause the players is what you'll see 100% of the time and will really get to you if it doesn't move properly.

these look like cut-scene's kinda....very nice though. wonder what the in-game view look like..

They look great. Sharapova looks like a barbie doll though. And it seems they have yet to "grasp" the art of a model holding an object. Hope they improve on that subtlety.

I wonder why that racquet is not displaying a shadow. She seems to self-shadow and everything too though.

It seems like the devs would be able to really push the visuals/animations in this sort of game where it is just a single court. One thing I can't quite get with the crowds is why they don't seem to center in on the characteres; they're all facing one direction (in a given section). So when they cheer, it looks pretty awkward.

Where is the shadowing and lighting? But that's besides the point, my biggest gripe isn't graphical but the fact that this game is nothing but a damn arcade game.

This has been my problem with Tennis games these days. Where are the real tournies? It's like no one wants to try and get a real Professional tennis license.

If the body and cloth animation is as good as the graphics then this will be quite a looker.

Lack of cloth physics and the short career mode were my biggest gripes with the original game, if they can adress both issues AND have animations that match the quality of these shots, then I'll be one damn happy camper ... :smile:

... once I can actually afford to buy a X360 and a copy of the game of course.

Can't wait to see it in motion, the cloth dynamics will be great - if they're done properly, which i expect they will, i mean there's only 2 charaters on screen...

Not too sure about some of the colour choices.. lots of pink and violet... I like my Wimbledon style tennis courts...

The characters look a lot better than in Top Spin, but they really should work on the environment too.
