The only comment I care to make is that it's nice to have some target times when we get to drive these two tracks in GT5. ;)

Im pretty sure it would be available for the moddable racing games like f1 challenge, r-factor, gtr ect

Wow I see my M3 did a decent lap time there. I just got it a week ago and I am loving it. Though so do evildoers because some guy came and scratched my right door with a sharp instrument whilst parked in my driveway the day I decided to work from home!

Would love to drop my 2002 Z06 for a newer gen Z06. The ZR1 would just be downright awesome. Surprised that it's 1 second away from the mighty enzo. Hopefully Stig gets a crack at the ZR1 soon.

I dont know how long the track is but I think some cars wont even manage 1 lap with only 1litre of fuel given how some of the supercars do 1:2 on the track :p

Do they even use the same driver btw?
The consensus seems to be that while The Stig is not one single person, there is just one person who does the laps around the track, though it was Schumacher himself who drove his FXX.

Bah, they are all petrol. Steam is where its at

The oldest Land Speed Record - for vehicles powered by steam - has finally been broken after more than a century.
Charles Burnett III drove the British Steam Car at an average of 139.843mph in two runs completed in opposite directions within an hour over a measured mile at the Edwards Air Force Base in California, and subject to official confirmation by the FIA this beats the previous record of 127mph set in 1906 by Fred Marriott on a Stanley steamer at Daytona Beach.

I think it is pretty funny that from 1906-2009 it only went from 127-->139.8 mph. The 1906 thing is far more impressive IMO.
