XBox = 13
PS2 = 12
PC = 7
GBA = 3

you dont have to buy CC if you dont want it, but I think you should get off its back, its about time personally the series evolved, and the prospect of having 3 of my friends controlling my party members sounds like a great addition.

Counting how many are in there, is as smiple as figuring out just how many gamecube fans are at IGN. It's pretty much a waste of time since you'll always see more gamecube games on a list like that from IGN.

As I said someone might want to know totals for each console, for whatever reason. So I might as well provide the information for those people, even though the info isn't important from my point of view (hey it wasn't important to colour code the list but I did that to).

As for IGN, they have plenty of fans from all consoles, allot of them owning more then one console. Just because the list has more GameCube games doesn't mean that IGN has to have more GC fans.

I just get mad when people think of it as a Final Fantasy game, opposed to something more akin to Secret of Mana. This isn't an "evolution" of the series, its a different game made by different staff with Final Fantasy name on it.

Personally I would rather have seen each console handled separately and include only the top 10 most wanted titles.

IGN has always been disproprionately slanted towards Nintendo in terms of their readerbase...they started off as N64.com afterall, did they not?

These numbers are to be taken with a gain of salt. :)

I mean compare the number of posts for each general board. Hardly scientific, but helps prove a point:

Xbox GB: 686,835
Gamecube GB: 1,215,710
PS2 GB: 469,432

I think it says that there are alot more hardcore (informed) Nintendo fans on the net. I mean look at all of the Nintendo related sites. So while PS2 and XB have more of an audience..the GCN probably has more hardcore gaming nuts..like me :LOL: .

I look at Pokemon at the 37 spot. I somehow think it will be huge againg when it's released in March here. I dont recall it ever really showing up very high on Japan's MW lists but wow look at it now.

I don't have the same list neither for PC or GameCube, I suppose not everyone likes the same games.

I don't like dark games anymore, while I did only one or two years ago, I only like games with vivid colors like starfox, mario and the like.
Fun, quick to master, easy to play, and in which you can do something in less than 30 minutes.
