If there's a joint first two places, why is there no 2nd place at all, but it skips to 3rd place?

Because it's like this in competition. 2 golden medals at one race at the olympics means there's no silver medal.

Tim writes a monthly column in "gamesTM" magazine published in the UK. He is pretty "out-there" with his column and the phrase merchant banker always comes to mind whenever I try to read it.

Time will tell if he has identifyed the games we will all be talking about, something tells me he hasn't.
