Street Fighter V

Wait. Exclusive to ps4 and PC?? Very odd. SF games have always been on every single device that runs on electricity. My fridge probably has a version of SF.

What other reason could there possibly be to exclude a platform on which you could play every previous iteration of the franchise? It's the same damn thing that happened with Tomb Raider, and it deserves the exact same kind of scolding too.

I don't think you are LB, seems like the PS4 and PC are similar, whereas xbox one requires considerable additional work to be done.

Don't see the issue myself, considering there will be 25 versions, with the xbox one sure to get Turbo Championship Lets Make The Name As Long As Possible Edition at some point.

Architecturally PS4 and PC may have more in common, API and SDK-wise Xbox has to have more in common with PC, otherwise what's the point of inflicting DirectX on Xbox developers?

All that's silly is a 32MB framebuffer (naive usage). They're otherwise functionally equivalent.

It's not like we're seeing a billion GPGPU particles. ;)

I really don't like this and hope it is not true. Sony should better invest this money in their studios instead of making multiplat games PS4 excslusive...first MS with Titanfall and Tomb Raider, now Sony with SFV?!?

Boo!

Assuming that's what happened, there's also the point that perhaps it's more of a 'defensive' deal. Seeing how MS doesn't really hesitate in digging into their very sizeable pockets, Sony didn't have much of a choice.
MS already got TF and TR, is Sony meant to sit there until MS pay their way to all the big exclusives? If that's the game, then both need to play 'dirty' or one of them will be left behind.

Sony has more than enough studios. And we don't even know the terms of this deal so it's hard to say how much money Sony is spending.

At least it's coming out on the PC too, so that's something. An option that will not be available for Tomb Raider.

Let's also remember that MS already has a pretty good fighting game with Killer Instinct which is also an exclusive and out since say one. Xbox One player aren't loosing much imo.
