They had Saints Row franchise pack for 27 during thanksgiving ... really nice game, ridiculously easy on normal difficulty if you spend a little too much time hunting upgrades though.

Why don't you just go and buy Radeon Gold Reward coupon from eBay? They go for something like 13-17 eur and you get 3 games, which of one can be Saints Row IV if you want (and the next Thief, for example)

I saw your post, ran over to ebay and bought a Radeon Gold Reward coupon right away.


..Only to find out that the coupon doesn't have Saints Row anymore!
The game was silently taken away. I already sent a tip to anandtech about it.


Now I'm stuck with a 20€ coupon that has Thief and two more games that I already own in Steam.

Sorry to hear that! I was lucky enough to claim Saints Row IV in November from Radeon Reward together with excellent FarCry BloodDragon and Hitman.
I also thought that Thief is the upcoming brand new game using Mantle and TrueAudio and not a current title. Or did you pre-purchased it already?
 
Looks like they've taken out some other games too, shame, didn't know about this.
Think about it positively, though, Thief is easily worth that 20€ and more :cool:
 
Picked up Deadpool and Blood Dragon too. BD runs awful on my laptop. :p Guess I'll just wait until next week to really get into it.

Yeah... I'm gonna wait for Saint's Row 4 complete pack with all the dlc tbh.
 
Only thing I bought this year was Europa Universalis IV. Thought about CoH2 but the reviews are that it's been turned into a play to win. Anyone tried the Planetary Annihilation Beta?
 
You would have gotten that for 1-2 cards in the beginning actually :)

I bought XCom Enemy Within today for $9.99, finally close to a price I'm willing to give for a DLC of this size.

Still have two coupons for the Amazon Editor's Choice, so I hope it's good.

Natural Selection 2 : is it worth it? Its MP only, so is the MP alive?

and more importantly, will it runon my HD4850 with 512VRAM, cos the requirements seem to mention 1GB Vram,but visuals don't really seem that outtathisworld :-/!

Also, has anyone played Interstellar marines? That seems so awesome, man, all the indie games seem so much better than these AAA titles !

I played Hard Reset last year, but just bought Shadow Warrior by the same dev. studio. Apparently very funny game and good story too. I will have to give it a spin once I finish Just Cause 2 as this game was on my back log for quite some time!

PS. Yesterday I finally got round to finishing Another World! I first played it on Amiga 1200 but never got to finish it then :oops:
 
Bought the entire X-series gold pack -- mostly I wanted to play X3:TC but I'm trying to decide if I should just start from the "beginning" and work my way through.

Unless you a shitload of free time (500-600 hours?) to play what's essentially the same game over and over, I'd say no..

The first X3 Reunion is over 8 years old and should look really dated by now.
Terran Conflict+Albion Prelude are basically a superset of Reunion and improve on it quite a bit, graphics and gameplay-wise.
The "main quests" aren't really the best thing available in X3 so I don't think it's worth all the grinding needed to finish it.
