Crysis 2 returned to Steam when they came up with the Maximum Edition.
BTW, with Origin if you own any recent boxed EA games or EA games on other download services, you can probably get Origin to add them to your account for download. Either through CD key registration or thru online chat support.

Batman: AC for $10 is a steal. Seriously, if anyone has any interest in the game, buy it for this price. Best game of last year and arguably the best action game I've ever played.
Dead Island for $10, Civ5 for $15, Skyrim for $30, etc. Good stuff so far.

I got Arkham City+Harlequin DLC, Civ 5 Goty and La Noire complete edition for 32,8€ total, just missed the Alan Wake franchise when it was -75%, I'll get it if it shows up again. Saints Row 3 is tempting at 7.49€...
Saints Row 3 is worth every penny at that price, it's a very fun game and completely over the top, much more fun than GTA4. I've snagged Max Payne 3, Darkness 2 and Vessel so far. Not as much as I'd usually buy at steam sales, but that's mostly because I've already bought most of the games I wanted.
Trine 2 for $4. Might have to install this on the wife's laptop for my 9yo daughter.

Yes Finally Fallout New Vegas for -75%. I got that and Saints Row Third. Alan Wake and Dead Island is still on my wanted list.
Series Sam 3 BFE, Civ V and Killing Floor (the wife wants to play it co-op) for me so far. Missed out on Alan Wake for $10 as I missed the fact it was a flash sale. Hoping to pick it up if it goes on sale again during this summer sale.

I was going to get B:AC but I want to have all the DLC and in the end it did come up a bit higher than that. I know I'm a bit spoiled since I picked up Batman: AA Goatee for 7.50euros in Dec 2010.
Anyway, got AW: American Nightmare for 3.49. I really liked the original so I'm hoping for a good experience.
Btw, if you don't have it yet, get Metro 2033 right now. it's 2.49 euros where the game is easily worth 20 even today. The graphics and story alone sell the game. The bullet economy + weapon feel make it a different, yet not alien, FPS.
Also, whoever didn't pickup Skyrim for 25 euros deserves to be shot. 215 hours and counting and I still haven't beat the main quest. Same thing with DX: HR, Goatee for me, 68 hours between the game and Missing Link expansion.
Steam is always more expensive than retail where I live but I can't argue with their summer/winter sales.
Thanks for the heads up; just bought Metro. I bought Skyrim for my brother yesterday (or whatever day it was) when it went half-price. Still haven't pulled the trigger on Crysis 2, as I can't definitively discover if it still installs Origin or not. I'm going to be stubborn about truly NOT wanting Origin on my gaming rig.
Wait until the last day for C2. It doesn't seem likely but it may show up in a daily/flash/community deal. As for requiring Origin, I assume you've checked the Steam forums.
Requiring Origin <sigh>, I only have it for BF3 but the recent news about BF4 have put me off even getting the DLC that was coming and swearing off the franchise altogether.
I'd be monstrously surprised if it did. Some goggling turns up nothing of the sort, so I'd assume it does NOT use/install origin, if I were you. Unfortunaely I can't test this thesis, as I already own C2 and don't feel like re-purchasing it again.
