Sonic The Hedgehog realtime demo on PS3 devkit

The video in the first post shows realtime demo in which Sonic and all the effects are controlled realtime on a PS3 devkit. The supposed "Xbox 360 version" is from the trailer montage for an Xbox 360 conference. Can it be a proof of, say, 60fps on Xbox 360? Or rather, is it really the Xbox 360 version in the first place? I'm just not sure about it, especially when its release date is set some time in 2006.

The first time it was seen was at E3 among a montage of Sega games which started with Chrome Hounds which is a 360 exclusive, and included 2 other 360 games.

BTW, we can lay the subject to rest:

Realtime on 360 hardware.

Looking amazing! SEGA is getting back on their feet! Bring Back my childhood legend! :D
oh well... (it awakened the child in me)

Yes!! Thank you! Lindburg, hahaha! I suck. Anyway, from what I remember Sonic and all other SEGA games were developed on Lindburg and then ported over to the oher consoles. It's possible, since the Lindburg is sporting a 7800 that's it's easier to port Sonic over to PS3 than it is to the Xbox360, thus a working demo was availble for the PS3 earlier. That's all.

That said, I would like to say this... Darn, you SEGA!! It looks like a pretty version of Sonic Adenture, I can already se the bottomless enviroments where I'm gonna fall down into an abyss a hundred time over rather than get to enjoy the speedy thrill that the old Sonic offered. Haaa~~~, hopefully I'm wrong.

Yup, and that's is an example of what i mentioend in anothe rthread. I saw people on other forums saying the sonic game looked like a choppy pice of garbage and the demo was horrible when they though it was only the xbox 360 version shown.

Well those guys are idiots mainly because it's a very early build of the game. IGN was even surprised that SEGA showed it this stage of development. The demo was running on a PS3 dev kit though!
