Here's something to ponder...why do PGR3 shots look good from every single source except that french website?

It's called cherry picking.



Those french screens feature none of the other visual effects in PGR like the lighting and reflections. On top of that, they are also taken on the test drive track (where you can test drive cars before buying) - the most boring and uninteresting track in the game.

No matter how much you "want" it to fail, it's just not going to. Sorry 'bout that.

 

Having played one race and watched a few more on a 50" rear projection LCD, I can say the game doesn't look nearly as impressive as all the photo mode shots and replay videos we have been seeing. But it does still look damn good and I am sure to buy it as soon as I get a 360.

 

Oh, and there's nothing "fancy" about taking pictures in photo mode. It just allows you to pose the camera.

Why not head over to xboxyde.com and look at the slew of high def PGR3 videos (recorded off a screen with a HD camera, but still very good quality). There are plenty with gameplay

Well, the ones posted on your website don't seem to be contracting those grabs by much though, though I acknowledge the fact that you didn't use a proper framebuffer graber to get your screens. Any chance you can link to some other screenshots that do represent the game as you see it (preferably at 480p and 720p ones). I really haven't seen any others besides what's been posted and those that appear to be from photo-mode.
