SlySoft cracks first generation BD+ encryption schemes

SlySoft, makers of optical media ripping software, announced today that the latest version of AnyDVD HD will include support for stripping Blu-ray discs of BD+ protection.

So in otherwords, they didn't really "crack" it, they're just circumventing some of the BD+ command set...

I think it'd be fair to call it a partial crack, in that the protection does get stripped off of these titles, but it's a limited action in the context of a limited implementation.
