Show yourself!

I think this thread would have died a long time ago if not for the resident B3D queers! A round of applause!
We prefer the term "metrosexuals" now.

Yes, there are quite a lot of Swedes that aren't blond.

Indeed, as shown in my photo earlier in the thread. I have not quite black hair, but fairly close. I did have a period like 3 or 4 years ago when I had blond hair, don't think I have any photo from that era though. Oh btw, I'm thinking of dying my hair again. I'm thinking blue this time.

Anyone think that would be cool, or just weird, or both?

You are not. Don't kid yourself.
Dude, I trim my nostril hairs and eye-brows after watching a few episodes of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and I swear I've been a born again convert about at least not appearing disgusting.

It's more a favor to my wife and family actually, I decided I'm going to try hard not to embarress them since I'll probably do it enough accidently anyways.

I've even started showering daily, next thing you know I'll be getting a purse!

You know, I had the same thought when Harry Potter became big story and I saw the first pics. Like, that could be me anno 1993 (except I had other glasses back then). My roommate used to joke about it ... oh, well ...

How tall are you?
Not very. Just 169 cm.

Humus:
I've seen it on a girl once, and it really shocked me how pretty it made her. But it's got to be really crystal blue, so it must be on top of a blond hair. Blue dye on dark hair look like thrash.

On a male? Don't know, except that the part about blue dye on dark hair still stands.

Well, in case I'd do it, I'd first bleech the hair. Dying it directly wouldn't make much difference since it's close to black. I tried once dying it red directly, saw nearly no difference. The next time I bleeched it first, which worked much better.

I was thinking of growing mine back, I hadn't gotten to the whole "color" thing yet.

I've been told I'd look 10-15 years younger if I got all the grey out of my hair, but why in the hell would I WANT to look 10-15 years younger? I earned that freaking grey the hard way, I survived; it reminds me of that.

Plus I just find the sight of 50-60 year old men with perfectly black/brown hair kind of hysterical looking....the modern equivilent of a comb-over. (Which I also detest)

I'd just rather be me, y'know? If people can't handle me the way I am, changing my appearance probably ain't gonna really do much to change that in my case. (My personality sort of overwhelms/overshadows my appearance. ;) )

For some reason....a song went off in my head once I finished reading that statement. Sorta like the opening music to Queer Eye or American Idol...it freaked me out.
