Its amazing what they accomplished in that game as a launch title. You can tell its still only half as long as it should be, buts its still an utterly beautiful game whether in stills or in motion.
When you are watching a cut-scene you are really blown away, but then it smoothly transitions to real-time play and you are hard pressed to spot the differences in some cases. You are sitting there waiting for the scene to finish, when in reality you are supposed to be playing again.
Lighting is outstanding in the cut-scenes, so imagine if they could carry that over to future gameplay. Laa-Yosh how close are we to that?
Other new-gen games are fantastic, but this one really makes me wander around to try and look at all the finer details. If only open world games could look like that, I know some scenes on the aqueduct had a bit more draw distance to them for example.
Hair in some cases was great, even during gameplay.
