New game from Crytek announced today in S. Korea.

Warface, co-developed by Crytek Seoul, is a free-to-play PC-exclusive military shooter set in the near future. It offers a "cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics".

It is indeed based on CryENGINE 3. There's a "constantly updated extensive" player versus environment universe, with multiplayer and co-op missions. There's a full set of class-based player versus player, too.

Warface is a PC exclusive "especially dedicated to the Korean and other Asian markets".

That's pretty awesome looking (graphically it shits all over Call of Duty), and free to play?! Holy shit! Let's hope for a version for the American and European markets. Even if it does look like pretty standard modern military fare, it's a huge leap graphically from all the other FTP shooters out there.

Free to play? Does that mean it's completely free or just lacking subscription?

Looks like a pretty nice Modern Warfare clone.

I assume it's like other F2P FPS. You can play for free but for special guns and powerups you have to pay real money.
