Rise of the Tomb Raider [XO, XOX, X360, PS4, P4Pro]

Did TR remaster also include grain filter? I don't recall this from PC edition. Though I may have turned it off

It definitely looks native on most pics I have seen, with some AA (not sure which one yet).
There was at least one shot with non-native width (the one with Lara overlooking the Soviet town/facilities). Perhaps they've implemented a dynamic scaling? I didn't give them all much of a look what with the crappy compression.

By the look at it I would say it's running on a real XB1 hardware, which is encouraging for the final product.
Ok, I'll give you counting pixels but being able to determine the source hardware producing those pixels? ;) Come on..

On console, no grain filter, very low motion blur (only applied when you move very quickly the camera) and with a very light (almost non-existent) post AA.

TR DE has such a great clarity, I love it.

You are right (well spotted). Some (like the town) seem to be half-upscaled like if running natively at ~1400x1080... which wouldn't be unusual for a XB1 game, would you think that @DSoup? ;)

Lol. Good banter. You are probably right about the hardware being x1. The SDK is no different from retail and bullshots seem to be having a negative opinion on informed gamers lately: so it very well could be.

I'm guessing English isn't your native language. What are you trying to say? unless you really think screenshots have opinions...

hmm?
nah. Most of the time I'm on my iPhone using the Tapatalk app to go through the boards. Often I'm in a rush to complete the message without editing when my train stop is rapidly approaching. This particular message is that the Xbox One SDKs handed out to developers are the same spec as the retail units we have. This is slight departure from last gen, SDKs have more RAM than the retail units (at least with the PS3 one I worked with, I'm not sure about 360, I assume the same). That being said, since Globalisateur was indirectly commenting at the not so graphically rich images, he made a witty comment that's he's sure it's the X1 hardware.

And yea, I think jokes aside, he's probably right. MS has nothing to gain from releasing bullshots/PC up-ressed shots of the game. 720p is going to stick with X1 for a long time, so no point in trying to hide from it. Some developers have faced harsh criticism for 'downgrades' so in theory there really is no harm in releasing images in which the graphics are not podium level, it may even improve in the future as well, but if it doesn't and the general public is still happy with it, the game and brand won't suffer because of it.

Rise of the Tomb Raider exclusive is not timed, but a full-fledged exclusive, according to Xbox Australia --that intern got into hot water:
