What are you betting? That some devkit had 40CUs at 2.0Ghz or that the final machine will have that config?
Devkit as of this time is 40CUs at approximately 2.0ghz.
How can this be proven or disproven later?
It can be disproven if the retail PS5 has more than 40CU or much higher than 2.0ghz clock speed.
I guess when information is released. Either after the launch spec is released at the absolute latest where we can reverse engineer the spec to see if 40x2.0 GHZ would work.
And if it has less?
Less than 36CUs or a clock massively under 2.0ghz also means my info is wrong.
Otherwise, we'll have to wait for more information.
