Not really, it's the only choice. Grounding is useless with a plastic enclosure, and C8 is not allowed for universal supplies above 250w.
They bought a psu from Delta which already passed all worldwide regulations, that is why the device compliance label is the PSU specs of 310w, not the max power operating of 170w.
They can put a C8 now if they use a new PSU with less than 250w specs.
