Quantum Break [XO] (by Remedy) *large images*

So hyperbole wrapped in list of tech terms, great. :runaway:
You should take a look at the thread you extracted my quote from. I make the very explicit argument that if you're going to say "it's the best" you need to have evidence to back it up. I do, I pointed it out at 3:47 in the video I linked.

If you're going to stalk me at least pay attention to my arguments ;)

BTW, regarding the blurriness of the screenshots: we've seen worse this gen, just take a look at The Order.

Huehuehue.

I'm hoping the gun play is a little more varied - the time techniques seem like a slow method of dispatching rubbish enemies. Attacking the time elites looked a bit more challenging, but generally speaking I found the main character to be overly too powerful.

Anyone with pixel counting experience? :p

Wasn't that the same case with Alan Wake? I found the gameplay to be quite mediocre but the story, sound and visuals really made the game for me.

Still waiting to play AW ;) But I'll keep that in mind.

This looks absolutely amazing! Most wanted game on X1, easily.

This game clearly shows how far AAA exclusive games are ahead of the rest :)

For me, besides the fantastic presentation, the gameplay looked extremely good and exciting. There seem to be so much time powers to play with...yeah!!

Can't wait.

Great effects and spectacle no doubt but to me the shooting looks quite basic.
I am thinkig that having only time/space manipulation abilities and no guns at all could have been more interesting and truly different.
To me it looks like so many things are there because TPS do it and god forbid you break the scheme.
The TPS typical "healing factor" for instance te me feels so out of place here given than you can stop time and so prevent bullets from even hitting you.
The time bubble is also boring and overused in TPS and frankly what's the skill/fun of shooting an immobile target?!

I think they've replaced the main actor with better known celebrity talent. Looks like the TV show is on as well.

Yeah noticed that too, 99% sure this was the reason for the delay. Completely different cast from what was shown a year ago.

I looked it up & they announced the new cast late November 2014. They just didn't say that Ashmore would be the lead actor/player. Good choice I think. I like him on The Following.

Tommy McClain

Game of X-Hobbits. It's a good cast whichever way you cut it!

Yeah was excited to see that up on gamersyde. Sadly, it's a recording of the video, not the video itself lol

Anyway, as for the "old" Jack Joyce, that's actually a different character in the game (I won't talk about him yet), played by Sean Durrie, who's 100% awesome.

Yep, it can be a little tricky sometimes when you have to release material, but don't actually have all the character models completed yet. Now that we're much closer to the game being finished, Shawn's in there. Just roll with it. =)

Heh. XD
