Qualcomm Krait & MSM8960 @ AnandTech

I don't even dare to ask if you're sure or for some documentation for it since I'm too scared of the answer.

Well its the most logical part you missed out...we already know the clocks are 400mhz (s600/320) and 450mhz (s800/330)..so where are you pulling random numbers from?

If you'd actually bother to read all the former posts you'd see that there's a logical chain between them. I said it's an either/or scenario and I haven't jumped to any conclusions yet. The Samsung SVH-E300S has the CPU clocked at nearly 1.9GHz according to the Kishonti results. As for random numbers it's extremely hard I guess that when you know N unit gets with X frequency Y fps to extrapolate the possible frequency of Y+N% performance.

I prefer to leave all reasonable options open until we have hard data to settle it. You on the other hand are "certain" about something you obviously have no insight on. There's a reason I was scared of the answer and I really hope we can get back to normal since that's already too much forum bandwidth wasted.

Yes we should be careful analyzing these results. This is 1 benchmark, what if the average HTC One benchmark is lower or higher, it can vary

Also another thing is that i have posted about Qualcomm working on drivers. But i forgot to mention that their big focus is on finishing drivers for Android 4.2 (the source is with Sony and the talk was about Qualcomm not delivering drivers for Scorpion because of the focus on Krait)

Well Sammobile just posted a leaked version of 4.2.1 for Galaxy S3, and they said it wont be released officially until after Galaxy S4 wich to me implies that Galaxy S4 will come with Android 4.2.1 out of the box, this could be the latest drivers wich makes it perform that much higher. I believe HTC One is still on 4.1 if im not mistaken

It would be quite a feat for Qualcomm if our speculation turn out true. And makes me wonder if the 50% boost of Adreno 330 is ontop of the potential 40fps of Adreno 320

Yea thats the big question....logic would point to that s600 with new drivers and lpddr3 is already a good chunk faster than s4 pro...also where does this 2x compute metic come from?....questions.

Considering the probably hw config (probably 4*SIMD16 or similar and 8 TMUs) at 400MHz, it wouldn't come much as a surprise for me, since there's a lot of potential probably lurking in the GPU. On the other hand if not, neither 400 nor 450MHz are uber-frequencies even for 28LP SFF mobile GPUs; it'll just come down how it would affect power consumption.

Although respectable, I suspect that the 26 fps here is a bit lower than we'd see on production hardware since the 320 should be clocked higher in Snapdragon 600 than in the S4 Pro from last year.

Note that Anand doesn't seem to be sure either yet.

26 fps on S600? Im not sure what LG is up to but all 3 of their phones with Adreno 320 have now shown odd results

I'm too bored to revisit all of Anand's benchmark exersizes with those to recall what he was doing to reach stable performance readings, but that "in the freezer" result he also mentions doesn't sound like something to rely on.
