Absolutely incredible

 

Bought from amazon. Should be here wed. Can't wait to play this!

 

124 now. Mad. Was 9.6/10 for ages - just sitting below the metacritic of 97/100 - which only used 46 of those reviews.

But taking into account ALL the reviews...and sitting at a pretty 9.7/10. - Wow, wow.

 

I wonder how they counted that 21/20 score, man I'll see if I can fish out a copy from Gametraders tomorrow, gaming in AU can be so slow.

 

Damnit - MediaMarkt already started selling Uncharted 2 today and Amazon (where I ordered mine from) hasn't even shipped them out yet....

 

20/20, hopefully. If they did anything else, they're stupid.

Is it released today? Not sure if Canada is the same as the US date.

 

I think officially on the 15th. Some stores are already selling them though. I've been checking Amazon the entire afternoon hoping to see a "item dispatched now" message... no luck so far. Looks like it won't be going out at Amazon before the 15th...

 

I just checked futureshop.ca and it says "In-store availability," so Canadians can pick theirs up today. Will probably pick it up on my lunch break or right after work.

Well its just a picture of a place from one of the levels.
But since you have not even seen a single thing from this game I advise you not to look at that

 

I hope your TV is just mis calibrated with way too much saturation.

Anyway, a 9.7 average is insane. Is there a list of games matching or exceeding that, really its almost too good to be true.

GTA4 on that list makes me sad, what a joke. I would put GTA4 on the top ten of this gen, let alone of all time.

 

Cracks me up that THPS2 is way up there. (Great game, don't get me wrong.)

 

I think with hindsight therefore ignoring all the hype only Zelda would still be up there. I suppose you could argue for Perfect Dark but I am not a fan of the genre so I wouldn't.

 

That's not really fair. Hype may be a factor for this gen's games, but what hype was there for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Soul Calibur or NFL 2k1? They were just games that got amazing reviews.
