Same experience last night playing with Robert. Some weird lag issues, especially with melee, sticking to cover and bullets that didn't seem to hit their target.

I found it. You have to highlight the Party heading to form the party, then wait for others to either join or quit, and you're left with a party. Joined a guy from Deathmatch and followed him into coop treasure hunt. Got to level 8.

This game is too fun. I can't buy it when it launches as I have too much other stuff to do! :cry:
 
Ha ha, I'm not supposed to play today. Working on weekends, bidding for projects and trying to meet delivery schedules. Everything is coming together before the holiday season. :devilish:

I can't wait till December 24th to have a good rest !

Considering I'm still up @ 1:30am writing proposals, it can't be helped ! ^_^

If you see me in assorted PS3 games earlier this evening, it's because a friend stopped by my place after dinner to check out PS3. My kid and I showed his family Uncharted 2 demo, Flower, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Creature Feature, EyePet trailer, LittleBigPlanet, and SingStar. They were blown away, but I think LBP left the deepest impression. They were surprised by so many user-generated games.
 
The aiming is bugged! I kept shooting right of my target on occassions, so I just did some soloing tests. You fire down the line until you get close, about 10 to 12 feet ish. Then shots travel very down and left. But not if you're in cover! Duck down by a wall and the shots carry on straight towards the screen centre as you'd expect. This is true in blind-fire and iron-sights.

Well use burst fire...I can kill a person from halfway through the map using AK-47 [which is supposedly the gun with worst aim]
 
What do you mean burst fire? Short, controlled bursts? As I said, the problem is with distance, but close quarters and isn't the same as recoil affecting accuracy. There was a guy peaking over a wall. I was shooting and shooting while he was reloading but I kept hitting the bricks a good foot below the end of the barrel! similar someone ran past just in front of me and as I tracked his head, all my shots were well behind him!
 
When you start teh Multiplayer..choose Custom Games rather than choosing Matchmaking.
From there load up the map you want & fiddle around for spots in the maps all alone.
 
Hello everyone I just picked up a PS3 that has wifi (so now I can finnaly play online) I had a 40 gig prior. My PSN ID is Charybdix I'm have some fun with U2 its a good change of pace from the FPS games I usually play like CoD and Halo 3.

Oh sorry I ment the first SKU that didn't have wifi I got one off ebay and it had no hdd or box and it has black instead of chrome accents. I thought it was a 40 I used it only for blu-ray and never played any games on it.

I will be getting Killzone very soon but no I do not have anything for the time being. On XBL I play a lot of Halo cause my wife likes to play split screen with me. Does any games for PS3 have split screen MP like Halo 3 I don't need it to have 4 player MP just 2 will be nice. Also for a point of reference I can only really play mornings 9-12 pst on weekdays and weekends I'm free at night after 9 pst.
 
For shooters, I believe Resistance 1, 2, UT3, Warhawk should support split screen. There are other games but I don't own them (or you may have them already). ^_^

Usually, I play co-op/split screen LittleBigPlanet, SingStar, MotorStorm, PixelJunk Monster with my family and local friends.
