[PS3] Uncharted 2

there could make 'easy' money with the engine unchanged and another story. The game's good enough to justify rebuying it with a few different weapons and storyline. And in a couple of mulitplayer maps and coop modes, and it'll be well worth it, letting the engine developers have the year off! :D

I thought that as a generality it had already been settled in these forums that the portion of development costs attributed to the "engine" was minor compared to art and asset production?

Cheers

Yes. That's why I put 'easy' in quotes, as it'll still be an undertaking. Just one the engineers can sleep through while the artists work their socks off! :p

Three DLCs on the way for U2. The first one will feature skins for the guy from infamous, Sev from Killzone 2, and Nathan Hale from Resistance.

Awesome.

I play mostly U2 co-op these days. How are the scores calculated ? I always end up second in the end even though I may lead in the middle. Is number of enemies killed worth the most ? Or reviving comrade ? Or what ? Does getting to the objectives earlier count ?

Depends on game type. Bascially hitting objectives is needed, and I think there are assists in some modes. Then comes kills I think, and KDR below that, so that if two players have the same kills, the one who has died least takes the higher position.

I play the "story mode" co-op these days. Would be nice if there is a score list somewhere. Also, does treasure has points or just $$$ ?

Oh, you get points for everything there! Just do more stuff than everyone else and you'll top the table. :D Incidentally, in the coop treasure mode, you get points for shooting people but very little for actually carrying the treasure across the map, so while my two buddies were lazing around quietly murdering under some pretence of covering my back and I was running like a maniac doing all the heavy-lifting in the danger-zones, they're the ones who got the high scores!

Yeah, that's what I tried to do. But it depends on how they weigh different actions (e.g., reviving a comrade vs killing a mini-gun enemy). Also does melee get more points than shooting him dead ? Too many questions. @_@

I tried googling for different keywords but couldn't find an unofficial list, let alone official one.

In case we see rage messages tomorrow:
http://playstation.joystiq.com/2010...update-1-04-fixes-multiplayer-data-syncing-i/

Uncharted 2 is receiving another title update. Patch 1.04 only addresses one issue, but it's a crucial one. Players affected by a rare "error syncing player data" issue will be able to connect online after downloading this patch. Unfortunately, the fix comes at a huge price: all multiplayer stats will be wiped for those affected by this glitch.

"This is going to happen ONLY to the accounts who couldn't connect because of the "error syncing player data" message.
