10 naturally... KZ games and WarHawk are the only competitive MP games i play online... so i'm a bit of a jaded fanboy.... don't mean it ain't flippin solid though ;-)

At first i didn't feel any difference until i actually started playing against people online (played with a few bots first to get used to it - my come-down off MAG)... Surprisingly GG have done a bang up spiffing job of retaining the weighty "feel" of the animations and such, while making it pretty flippin darn responsive.

I can very much imagine that there'll be no more complaints about the controls again. I didn't have to mess with the sensitivities or anything, i picked up the controller and it just felt responsive and natural... MILES better than KZ2 pre and post patch.

EU Blog tweeted that 10.000 people downloaded the theme in Europe in the first half hour. I did it within that time (20ish minutes past), but if they pick 10.000 I might still have a chance. They say those in should be getting a mail soon.

Let me just say that I am so envious of anyone with a BETA code. I just watched a few movies on YouTube and I quite like what I'm seeing so far, though admittedly, I'm a bit concerned about the framerate issues.

This just can't come soon enough.

Although i'm not particularly that sensitive to framerate, i can usually tell if a game's framerate drops often. In KZ3 i haven't experienced any frame-drops much. I think i may have experienced some in some wickedly heavy firefights with a couple of mecha close by firing chainguns and rockets, with guys on mounted swarm launchers trying to take them out... but generally i think the framerate holds up pretty solidly.

Thanks for the info, that doesn't sound too bad. The reason why I was a bit skeptical in regards to framerate was after reading the Neogaf forum and having read some members complain about 24 player or less games feeling like the more hectic 32player ones in KZ2. From what I read, it sounded more framerate related rather than lag.

KZ2 wasn't the most smoothest game, but it still offered a terrific experience, so I'm not too worried. At least I hope it can maintain the high bar KZ2 set. :)

How do you destroy a mech ? Since KZ3 has melee and supports Move, can you do it Skywalker-vs-At-At style ?

I reckon you destroy the driver rather than the Mech.
