Ya, I think the camera flash just washed out the whole pic. People need to buy tripods and use DSLRs to get good pics.

Did anyone try Twonky with h.264 or MPEG2 .TS files?
Good advise from andrewfee over on the GAF on whether or not you should use the "RGB Full Range" option on the PS3.

Tested on my KDL-40V2500 using that benchmark and it does seem to support the Full Range setting over HDMI.
DLNA functionality works great -- it picked up my WMP11 shares immediately. I'll try out Nero over the weekend. Using remote play, I was streaming music from my PC to the PS3 to the PSP -- pretty cool.
The PS2 smoothing option looks like crap. It's blurry as hell and it disables both progressive scan and widescreen. God of War II looks way better in WS progressive scan than it does with that blur filter. I could see using it for older 480i games, but definitely not at the cost of widescreen support.
The RGB full range BTB/WTW option looks great. It's much improved over limited. However, I can't get the setting to stick. Once I watch a movie, it returns to normal and I have to disable and then re-enable the option to get it to work again. So for the time being, it's only useful for media stored on the hard disk and games.
I was being facetious, and naughty about by not including a smilie It's clear a different location but the labels didn't note as much.Down side of the Smoothing.

Can't wait when PS3 can play slide show and music at the same time.

I have not tried it myself but the technique above is supposed to make WMP 11 stream Mp4.

Does PS3 support AAC (but not Freeplay DRM)?
Or will it stream and scale pics up to 1080p?
Yeah but in places where you need as much dynamic range as possible, such as inside cathedrals, you're not allowed to use tripods, if you're even allowed to take pics.
