Talented, and also two years old. 
There's work by montyoum that surpasses this technically. You may have seen his Master Chief vs. Samus movie. His other movies are quite good too, if incredibly cheesy.

His work may surpass Proxicide's technically, but certainly not artistically. I think the whole comparison almost seems moot, given that Proxicide delibrately limited his work to Flash based on the original sprites. Despite that self-imposed limit, the animation in SFvMK is far more realistic as well as far more aesthetic -- far more enjoyable. Every aspect of Proxicide's flash movies is finely honed and satisfying. By the third installment it gets a little wacky/hokey/hackneyed, but having not seen even the first ep before, it was much enjoyed!
