Prescott to support Lagrande{Palladium} ?

Not sure if this is the right forum or not but these sort of initiative should be known whether it be rumour based or not.

After reading the IDF from anandtech it makes you wonder where the Palladium based initiative will take us,more secure pc's or even more paranoid IT customers ?

i've read on some page (cant find it anymore, maybe they have pulled the story; i think it was on the inquirer) that prescott will not support palladium, but some kind of virus/boot sequence protection (no idea how this is gonna work). they said that this you can disable these faetures completly

i hope to god the prescot doesnt support LaGrande. the whole LaGrande / Palladium / TCPA thing is pure evil as far as us consumers are concerned. It will allow companies and the government to take TOTAL comtroll over our computers! They can know and controll *every single thing* we do on them! please get this link into circulation!!!!
