Me, the ostensible Playstation fan, truly excited about the possibility of a Killer Instinct revival, and you guys the ostensible 360 fans basically disappointed it's not something else.

I frankly think it's awesome news.

Well if it is true, I'm gonna make the prediction right now that KI will be one of the graphically defining titles in 2007. Given what they did with Kameo, I can't wait to see what RARE can do with a real 2nd generation game, a fighting game nonetheless. It should be extremely impressive.

I almost have to think that you guys never played the original on the N64 (though I know you all probably did). But seriously if that sort of visual banchmark (for it's time) is reached in a modern analogue, I think the game will likely be *quite* beautiful, and I'll back you up on the pursuit of a 'defining' title.

Doesn't mean it will be achieved of course, but I'd have no doubt it's a target goal.

Killer Instict next-gen has been repeatedly asked by the xbox community from rare, even before PDZ was out. banjo-next also.

that doesnt mean of course that its happening, just means that KI is indeed a very appreciated game.

I do agree here, i popped in Kameo a few weeks ago for the first time in months and it holds up REALLY well. I can only imagine what they would have been able to do if the 360 was launching this year instead of last.

hey valioso,
worst thing I see happening for resi5 360 is launching the same day with ps3.
thats not bad in any case (except the extra time for ps3 dev, as we've seen with Valve)

I have plenty space, I dont keep videos or demos very long, usually I watch them and delete them. Or play the demo a few times until I get an idea and then is gone.

After the latest updates you now get 14gb instead of 12 available in total, I just cleaned house last week so I have about 10gb free. Disc space isn't a problem since most is taken up by demo's, delete one or two of those and you just freed up a gig and a half.

I want a black Xbox360. It's way too much cooler in this color then the white one and it matches my TV better as well. I hope MS makes it real... they've had a crystal X1 too, there's a chance it'll be released...

Oh, I'm not disappointed. I was merely commenting that a KI sequel is not really big news. Rumors have been around since Grabbed by the Ghoulies that KI3 was coming. It's not big news in the same sense that Halo 3 was not big news. The only big news would be that the game is not being made.

I guess I was thinking more in terms of shock factor.

Anyway, here's IGN's predictions. Though, I don't know how worthwhile they are given that Bungie basically confirmed Halo 3 stuff at X06 on their podcast.

I have no prognostications (although I have been eerily accurate in certain circles), must be the tea leaves.

As far as hdd space, Lost Planet is the only demo that stays on the hdd. I like keeping video that is shot in HD on the hdd (only for showing off HD, film doesn't always "WOW" people), so after cleaning last night, I have 7GB available.
